Boarding all rows

Staring out the window at the world sliding by,
Wondering how you got here, silent as you fly.
Things just happened to you, random people met
Moments with great impact, lives forever set.
Is it happy?  Is it sad?  Either way…
Life rolls forward before you even have a chance to say
‘ i love you ‘
But it’s true, irrefutable, unbending, never denying the fact
Never quite as obvious in the everyday act.
Bodies wound together, warm under the sheets,
Worn from their night together, the thrum of hearts beat.
Regardless of the effort lost in each others’ eyes,
You move on together, bound forever, in truth, in honor, in love.

Boarding all rows to the rest of your life.
